In an age obsessed with certainty and instant answers, we’ve forgotten how to stand in wonder before the beauty and mystery of existence. How can we cultivate childlike curiosity again?
So good! Life isn't meant to be analyzed but experienced! I've been learning this year that I don't know what's true, but that doesn't mean I can't have faith. People are so confident in their dogmas. I don't know why. We need to get back to libraries, nature, and stillness. All this instant knowledge makes us lazy thinkers. God says, be still and know that I am God. Psalm 19:1 NLT
The heavens proclaim the glory of God. The skies display his craftsmanship.
I wholeheartedly believe that. I'm in awe whenever I'm in nature. The sky, the ocean, the mountains, the stars, and the sun. That's where home is!
Amen! There is a certain contentment in not knowing.
We live in an age of certainty — however many are certain about things that none of us can possibly know for sure.
What a joy it is to reignite our childlike curiosity and to live in wonderment… this is why my life philosophy is to ‘Question Everything’ — I am not seeking answers, I am seeker deeper questions 🙏
Great thoughts Question!! Get away from the cities and light pollution and crowds. Go to the ocean .. go to the mountains .. look up at the stars .. be awestruck at a tiny baby .. Wonder is all around us!! Don't be distracted by a blue screen or a stupid cell phone!
Great read. Thanks for sharing! That idea of campaigning for the revival of the daydream really resonates, especially as a way to reclaim those micro-moments we all tend to sacrifice to our screens. These wee pauses, the moment I sit at the window with my coffee, or even the brief wait at a stoplight aren't empty time; they’re opportunities. They're like tiny, free retreats that instantly help me feel present and grounded. That intentional stillness gives my mind the exact space it needs to reset, letting those quiet, creative daydreams bubble back up. It’s a powerful campaign, and I'm totally on board to start trading frantic scrolling for peaceful staring. Some days it’s easy… other days it’s incredibly hard.
I love your perspective here. As you stated we can turn even the most brief ordinary moments into opportunities of wonder and inner peace. I agree, some days it is easier and more natural - other days it is incredibly difficult.
This is a truly wonderful message. I myself is a child(teenager), but at time we forget on the beauty around us and live life worrying and thinking about things that are going to pass. To be a child with a reasoning of an adult is my model to live life. Thank you for the reminder.
You are very welcome, my friend. During our teenage years as we transition into adulthood is often when we begin to lose that sense of wonderment. As you leave your youth never bury your inner child! Thank you for your comment 🙏

Exactly, Alan!
Amen, Alan!!
This is one of the reasons I walk in the woods everyday. No phone.... Nothing compares
Beautiful! The woods are full of wonderment - my favorite place to connect with God 🙏
Yes… love it! So many problems can be solved just by staying curious and exploring more.
Absolutely! Too many place importance on having the right answers and not enough place priority on asking the right questions.
The reason I love camping….pets…nature ….
Absolutely! All of these bring peace to our hearts and nourishment to our minds 🙏
Getting up early while it’s still dark, I see a few stars and still I am in awe of what the Lord has created.
What a wonderful way to start your day, Susan 🙏

Capitalism doesn’t want us to enjoy as much as work. They don’t want us to think too much about what they’re doing or how they exploit.
Very true!
