I agree, RJ. I remember years ago seeing a very interesting study where they polled citizens across the globe to gauge the collective happiness levels. One of the poorest cities in India ranked at number one. Many of the poorest areas were towards the top of the list and the wealthiest towards the bottom.
Sometimes the ‘pursuit of happiness’ distracts us from just being happy.
Truth! Humans are not made to pursue manufactured goals, only real things that matter. That’s why nature makes us happy and why people save to escape to beautiful beaches and scenery.
